The new Chrysler 300 was launched to the market at April 2011 in Kuwait , but the SRT8 will be in Al Mulla and Behbehani Group during the first week of April 2012. The Chrysler 300 is one of the most luxurious American cars and also is one of the most favourite in Kuwait and lots of people would love to buy this luxurious car. Its starting price in Kuwait is 10,950 KD and that is for the V8 engine with 363 Horsepower. Of course the SRT8 would be much more expensive and will cost almost 17,900 KD. The redesigned 2011 Chrysler 300 took a leap forward in refinement, but the large sedan's makeover didn't come with an SRT8 variant, there's a lot to go over on this new 300 SRT8. Gone is the 425-horsepower 6.1-liter Hemi V8, replaced with the new 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that first appeared in the new Challenger SRT8 392. The new V8 produces 465 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, up 40 ponies and 45 lb-ft versus the outgoing engine. What's more, that upgraded output is also more usable for 2012, as Chrysler tells us we can expect an additional 80 lb-ft of torque at 2,900 rpm, which translates into more thrust from a standstill. The Chrysler 300 SRT8 goes 0-60 "in the high four-second range," and a quarter-mile time of fewer than 13 seconds. The transmission of choice will be the carryover five-speed automatic, though paddle shifters will join the automatic to give drivers a couple options for gear selection.
