Without sounding too cheesy we can honestly say that this is the best Jeep Grand Cherokee…ever. What makes the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 the “best ever”? Well, for one thing engineers are getting pretty good a creating something that hits the mark for perfection. They worked tirelessly with the Chrysler Group LLC’s Street and Racing Technology team, hammering out all the details making sure that this vehicle came together seamlessly, creating the perfect blend of rugged Jeep brand qualities and smooth luxurious trappings.

People are expecting a lot of the 2012 Grand Cherokee. It’s not allowed to just look good on the lot or in your driveway; it must perform as well. And does it ever: The Grand Cherokee hits 0-100 KPH in 4.8 seconds, and polishes off the quarter-mile in the mid 13-second range. It hits a top speed of 250 KPH, not that we recommend you try that out. Also, if you need to brake fast and hard, she’ll accommodate you, coming down from 100-0 in just 116 feet. Equal in both beauty and brawn, this Grand Cherokee is the most powerful Jeep vehicle ever. With an all-new 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, the Grand Cherokee is capable of 465 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. All that power is nicely harnessed with adaptive damping suspension managed by the all-new Selec-Trac system, making this Grand Cherokee capable of up to .90 g on the skid pad. Also new for 2012 is an active valve exhaust system, which allows standard Fuel Saver Technology to engage over a wider rpm range for an estimated 13-percent improvement in highway fuel efficiency and 450-mile range. As if this weren’t enough Jeep has also made driving just that much more pleasurable by adding standard steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The image above was taken from (
